The Role:As Director of Operations, you will be reporting to Stellar CTO and you will be required to contribute to other annex activities including sales, product development and roadmap definition as well as strategic planning and budgeting.You will be responsible of managing a dynamic technical operations and technical support team and cover the following duties and responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Direct end-to-end operations strategy and execution, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of services.Oversee network infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and SLA compliance.Define and implement processes for network operations, incident response, customer support, and operational resilience, ensuring carrier-grade service availability.Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, sales, and customer support to deliver operational excellence.Capture main reported customers issues and requests and report internally.Contribute to the definition of roadmap and requirements of STEER® Management platform.Manage budgets, KPIs, and performance targets for the operations team, ensuring cost efficiency and operational integrity.Build and mentor multidisciplinary operations teams, fostering adaptability in a fast-scaling, global environment.Required Skills and Competencies:Proven experience in global operations management within SaaS or Telecoms environments.Strong knowledge of network operations, service assurance, and SLA-driven processes.Ability to design and enforce processes for monitoring, escalation, and incident management.Financial and analytical skills to manage budgets and optimize operational performance.Knowledge of satellite-terrestrial hybrid telecoms (cellular 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, satellite), including terminal design and systems integration.Experience with IP networking (switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN) for both design and hands-on configuration.Hands-on experience with Linux OS and specific configurations related to networking.Hands-on experience with modems/cellular modules, Wi-Fi, compute platforms (ARM and x86), antennas and multi-network connectivity.Experience in vendor management and procurement.Other Skills and Capabilities:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
