Responsibilities:
● Support the annual budgeting, quarterly & monthly rolling forecasts for Alibaba Cloud Intelligence's European region, track and analyze the execution of budgets and forecasts, promptly identify issues, and provide management recommendations.
● Deeply understand and align with business strategies, facilitate goal setting, breakdown, and tracking, establish core operational metrics for the business, build an integrated business-finance analysis framework, and monitor key business-financial indicators.
● Offer insights and management advice from a financial perspective to support and optimize business decisions, driving operational improvements.
● Identify financial risks in business operations, collaborate with internal control and audit for timely warnings and mitigation strategies, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
● Oversee financial analysis and assessment of revenue, profit management, channel sales, resource allocation, overseas IDC investments, establish and optimize related systems and processes, controlling business risks, and enhancing core financial metrics.
● Prepare standalone company reports for the European region, complete annual statutory audits, support internal and external special audits, assist with group consolidation report audit materials, collaborate with tax, legal compliance departments in facing external regulatory bodies, and prepare relevant financial data and documents for compliance.
● Establish an accounting quality control system, promote monitoring and review mechanisms across finance teams, conduct in-depth analysis and follow-ups on significant or recurring quality issues, carry out specialized reviews and inspections, promptly feedback findings to management and finance teams, and collaborate with IT product and tech teams to drive system enhancements, effectively reducing local accounting risks.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Finance-related majors, with at least 6 years of cumulative experience as a Financial Business Partner or in financial analysis; holders of CPA, ACCA or equivalent accounting certifications are preferred.
2. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in complex environments, strong learning capacity, resilience, and cross-functional communication skills.
3. Proficient in analytical frameworks supporting business decision-making, market competition analysis, pricing strategies, demonstrating logical thinking, and adept at problem-solving.
4. Prior experience in the cloud computing or ICT industry is a plus.
5. Strong data handling skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) are advantageous.
6. Language proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a must. Language proficiency in French will be a plus.
