Senior Project Manager


We are looking for a senior project manager to expand the team and work on Medincell’s programs. This role involves strategic planning, coordination with various departments, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering projects on time and within scope ensuring the successful delivery of complex pharmaceutical projects.

The senior project manager ensures coordination and communication with the different departments, analyzing risks and challenges, proposing solutions and being up to date with their scientific field. This role will work in a matrix organization and a multi-national environment in close coordination with all team members and the management team.


Responsibilities


Project Development Strategy

  • Establish the overall strategy and implementation process for each project in collaboration with internal teams and/or potential partners, in consistency with the harmonized product development process at Medincell and the standardized project management process
  • Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and lead a cross functional project team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Plan activities with the project team and determine the associated budget
  • Determine the necessary resources and include them in the budget
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes


Project Execution

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Oversee projects in accordance with timetables, track project performance, analyze data, and implement improvements
  • Ensure adherence to objectives and deliverables on time at proper quality
  • On a regular basis, prepare and lead regular updates and plan meetings with internal / external teams and partners
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status
  • Lead the project team following the critical path analysis, Identify bottlenecks and potential problems and undertake actions to resolve them
  • Recommend and implement approved plans for urgent issues and establish working groups needed to solve issues
  • Provide precise budget forecasts and monitor / ensure adherence to the initial project budget
  • Ensure that project data is accurate, up-to-date and accessible
  • Serve as the Project Champion and the leader of meetings with the sponsor and during decision-making meetings
  • Consolidate and monitor project termination plans and ensure an optimal transition of the program
  • Develop metrics / KPIs
  • Evaluate projects against the metrics initially established
  • Propose process improvements and tools
  • Prepare debriefing of the project


Other Interactions

  • Interact with CDMOs / CROs to carry out sub-contracted activities in accordance with the project timetable and budget
  • Interact with possible suppliers (drug substances, excipients, etc.)


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, from proof of concept to clinical stage
  • Experience in a project management role
  • Good knowledge of drug development processes and regulations
  • Scientific background with relevant pharmaceutical science (or equivalent) education
  • Experience in international and multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluency in English is essential

  • Effectively preparing and leading meetings internally and with third parties in English

  • Fluency in oral and written English
