Establish R&D Team and Lab: Develop and implement a strategic plan for setting up a state-of-the-art R&D lab in Paris, ensuring it meets the highest international standards for cosmetic research and development.
# Build and manage a diverse and highly skilled R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
# Global R&D Support: Collaborate with the global R&D team to align the Paris lab's objectives with the company's global R&D strategy, ensuring seamless integration and support.
# Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all R&D activities and products are in full compliance with European cosmetic regulations and standards.
# Establish partnerships with local universities, research institutions, and industry experts to enhance R&D capabilities and foster innovation.
# Budget Management: Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support the team's objectives.
# Regularly assess the performance of the R&D team and lab, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
# Provide regular updates to the Global R&D Head and other stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and successes of the Paris R&D lab.
Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in R&D within the cosmetics industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of building and leading successful R&D teams.
Fluency in English and French
