The OpportunityAs Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across multiple projects, ensuring electrical designs are practical, compliant and aligned with both client expectations and project objectives.
You'll collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors and specialist engineering disciplines to deliver integrated electrical solutions while helping to resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
This position combines hands-on engineering with stakeholder management and offers genuine influence over technical decision-making on large-scale engineering programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Engineering LeadershipLead the delivery of electrical engineering packages from early design through construction support and final commissioning.
Develop, review and optimise electrical system designs to ensure performance, resilience and compliance.
Produce and review engineering documentation, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Provide technical guidance throughout project delivery and support engineering best practice across the wider team.
Multidisciplinary CoordinationWork closely with mechanical, structural, architectural and controls engineers to deliver fully integrated project solutions.
Coordinate engineering activities with external consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
Participate in technical reviews, design workshops and project coordination meetings.
Ensure design changes are effectively communicated and implemented across project teams.
Technical AssuranceReview engineering proposals and equipment selections to ensure they meet operational and commercial requirements.
Identify technical risks and develop practical engineering solutions to maintain programme objectives.
Support engineering governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the development of engineering standards and technical documentation.
Project Delivery SupportProvide technical support during procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
Assist with technical queries arising during installation and project execution.
Support project teams in achieving successful delivery through proactive engineering input.
Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
About YouWe're looking for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys working on technically complex projects and thrives within collaborative engineering environments.
You are likely to have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
Significant experience delivering electrical engineering solutions for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and critical building systems.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external project stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organisational and technical problem-solving skills.
A collaborative approach with the ability to influence project outcomes through sound engineering judgement.
Experience That Would Be Highly BeneficialCandidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:Mission-critical facilitiesData centre infrastructureIndustrial or advanced manufacturing environmentsMedium

Language RequirementsProfessional fluency in French and English is essential.
