WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are searching for a Senior Designer who is able to craft a positive relationship with the rest of the Studio team, from narrative to experience to production against all creative. You are an outstanding executor of concepts and creative thinking, and your experiences should have a mix of a few fields, from photo direction to understanding and working against a narrative, to graphic design, communication, moving images, and environmental design (where needed).

You have experience building strong conceptual process that drives the work across every touchpoint. It is also very important to have an understanding of the various digital channels, working with the latest software, and a knowledge of the different channels and the creativity that clearly works into them, whilst also driving compelling innovative solutions. The designers are focused on the conception and level of execution, they work under the direction of the creative lead and alongside producers and narrative. You will understand the seasonal strategy and always complete it. You have been exposed to collaborations with agencies and other external parties.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

The work in Paris focuses on editorial content, app innovation & launches, and campaigns that go full end-to-end, working from concept to implementation across all of our digital and physical channels. You will play a meaningful role in developing work that is a mix of origination for specific Paris projects and extending and aligning against Global/EMEA directives.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Tight-knit collaboration with the designer and art directors; creative leadership on an EMEA level; day-to-day liaison with the Paris marketing team; working within a creative squad & partnering with the narrative, production, and operations team. You will also collaborate with and guide external partners and agencies, including professionals in your respective field.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:

- Absolute respect, proactivity, and deep appreciation for diversity and equality in the workplace. You must embody Nike’s culture and embrace the maxims that it stands for.
- Experience in art direction and/or senior design roles, with ideally a strong focus on consumer brands.
- Phenomenal human and communication skills. This includes a proven ability to listen and mentor.
- Experience directing photography (talent and product), illustration, and external agencies.
- Working against 3D programs, Video editing, and motion design software is a plus for working at Nike. Advanced knowledge of the latest design computer software.
- Exposure to and understanding of consumer behavior. You must have consumer knowledge in the city and across EMEA, specifically against youth culture, as well as the passion for sports, the sports lifestyle, and the culture around it.
- You will have a great foundation of technical knowledge when it comes to digital and innovative practices.
- You will be able to distill briefs down in a way that allows you to showcase your thinking in creative ways.
- Passion for reinventing the way we approach traditional ways of working. Not scared to challenge the past and in doing so push new creative ways of thinking and working.
- Ability to travel 30% within Europe.
