- The preferred location for this requisition is Paris - France and the successful applicant, although the role is hybrid, should be located within a commutable distance to our Paris and local customers offices.
**What You Will Do**:
As a Cisco Pre-sales professional, your role involves communicating the critical importance of the network to our customers and partners. You will be responsible for translating customer requirements into high-level solution designs, ensuring that these align with their business needs and technical requirements. This involves working closely with customers, particularly French utility clients like EDF, to introduce new technologies to the market.
Collaboration is key, and you will work alongside the Business Units and Technical Marketing teams to gain a deep understanding of our products, technologies, and services. Your insights from the field will be invaluable in helping to continuously develop our solutions.
Part of your responsibilities includes preparing model RFPs and responding to customer RFPs. You will also conduct technical workshops for Customers, Partners, and internal teams, and stay informed about competitor offerings to provide strategic input on product positioning and differentiation.
Additionally, you will represent Cisco at community forums and customer-facing events, addressing post-sales customer concerns by coordinating with both internal and external collaborators to resolve issues effectively. You will use internal tools and programs to plan and deliver high-quality demonstrations, promoting Cisco solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness for utility accounts.

You are someone who is passionate about technology and possesses a strong understanding of the challenges faced by the utility industry. Your excellent communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences, being able to build customer interactions from the CIO through to technical staff. As a proactive problem-solver, you thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt seamlessly to changing priorities. With a customer-centric approach, you are committed to delivering exceptional service at all times.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in French and professional in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions. Routing, Switching, Wireless, Data Centre, network orchestration, Collaboration technologies, Security, IOT, and Video.
- Proven experience with pre-sales activities (RFI, RFP, presentations, technical discussions, etc.)
- Demonstrated capacities to deliver impactful customer presentations.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the utilities sector.
- Experience with Cisco technologies, cloud technologies and cybersecurity solutions.
- Being on a sales incentive plan that is based on individual and/or team sales results.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to train and coach others in our enterprise technologies.
- Knowledge of sales cycle.
- Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience.
