**Juniper Systems Engineer - your role**:
- You will team with your sales counterparts to provide technical leadership in sales engagements for new and existing opportunities
- Build meaningful relationships with key customer technical decision-makers to understand business and technical requirements then influence and recommend appropriate solutions relative to the competitive landscape
- Contribute with the various Juniper internal technical teams and Product Management to help drive product direction and share knowledge.
- Maintain customer connection through product life-cycles
**Requirements**:
- You are analytical and able to resolve complex problems
- You have a positive outlook and are a constructive teammate
- Have experience and knowledge in IT networking in any of the areas of management, routing, switching and security
- Motivated by building business success through competing and winning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to discuss technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Ability to deliver sales presentations, white-board technical design sessions, and conduct product demonstrations/seminars
- Ability to work independently and remotely as well as in a team to accomplish goals
- Be willing to travel with a flexible attitude to working patterns
**Desirable requirements or potential to acquire**:
- Experience in a technical sales role
- Knowledge of Juniper’s product line and technologies is desirable although not essential
- Understanding of public cloud and WAN technologies
