The Role
Aspen Technology is looking for an experienced Principal HR Business Partner to join its dynamic team
The Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. In support of our strategic goals and talent strategy principles the successful Principal HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent.
This role will be based in France and be responsible for supporting various business units across South Europe (including France, Italy, Spain, and Germany).
Your Impact
- Oversee the execution of key talent management processes such as the annual performance review, succession planning, new hire onboarding, promotions, change management and Organisational design and development
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management related to coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure policies, practices and programs are administered in a fair and consistent manner
- Identify management and employee training and development program opportunities that address business needs and recommend implementation of appropriate options. Deliver training programs as required
- Collaborate with other HR team members, manage projects or provide direction on HR-related programs and practices
- Ability to perform training to managers, employees and executive leadership on topics such as Management development, Talent acquisition, employee relations etc.
- Main point of contact for Workers Council in France
What You'll Need
- Extensive HR Business Partner experience
- Experience collaborating with Workers Councils
- Experience working for a Global Company with headquarters in the US and recent experience working for an IT sales or Services organization preferred
- Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law
- Motivated, self-starter with proven ability to drive change, processes and HR practices
- Ability to act in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent judgment and creative problem solver
- Demonstrated coaching skills
- Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Understands HR Metrics and its correlation to business success. Analyses data to support decision-making for the business
- Thinks independently, challenges the status quo, proactive in raising ideas for improvements or efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- CIPD qualified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and French both written and verbal
