To support this vision and as the principal data value and compliance enabler SWX is rapidly growing and investing in Privacy & Information Management. It’s a very exciting time to be working for us, so if you’ve got the smarts and the passion then we would love to hear from you Within the Privacy & Information Management department we are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Data Compliance and Risk Manager responsible for ensuring that the company’s data operations are conducted in a manner that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry standards and best practices. Key responsibilities but not limited to: - Report to the Head of Privacy & Information Management. - Key stakeholder of business data requirements - responsible for the global standard and process. - Establish a data privacy compliance and risk management strategy/framework across data and project lifecycles - Conduct risk assessments (privacy, protection, ethics) to identify risks across SWX products and data platforms. - Manage the risks for connected vehicles, data platforms and downstream internal/external data sharing activities. - Capture problem statements, develop solutions (risk mitigation plans) and monitor their effectiveness over time. - Monitor risks with all applicable laws and regulations focused on automotive and data privacy. - Provide training and support to stakeholders and employees to ensure understanding and compliance with organizational and departmental strategies. - Investigate potential issues, including conducting internal investigations and working with external partners as needed. - Identify and raise risks that may impact the company’s operations, including financial, operational, and reputational risks. - Report and communicate risks to senior management and other stakeholders. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automotive and data regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
