**Cooper Consumer Health** est un acteur européen de premier plan dans le domaine de la santé grand public qui développe, produit et distribue une gamme variée de produits OTC (sans ordonnance) avec des marques fortes telles que **Oenobiol**, **Vitascorbol**, **Pouxit**, **Insect Ecran**, **Valdispert** et bien d’autres.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes en plein cœur d'un projet passionnant de fusion-acquisition pour acquérir un vaste portefeuille de médicaments en vente libre. Cette démarche stratégique nous permettra d'étendre notre empreinte sur les principaux marchés européens tels que la France, les Pays-Bas, l'Italie, la Belgique, l'Espagne et le Portugal. Grâce à cette acquisition stratégique, combinée à notre empreinte historique, le Groupe continuera d'être un pionnier dans le développement, la fabrication et la distribution d'une gamme diversifiée de produits en vente libre. - Job description
- As Africa Region Manager your area of responsibility will include the Sub-Saharan Africa with 22 countries (such as Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon, Congo, Burkina Faso ) for a revenue worth ~30M€. You will manage different functions with 1 Africa coordinator, 5 Country Supervisors and >70 medical reps. You will be responsible for the development of the market in your area and the implementation of the Group's strategy. You will keep a strategic and operational mindset and report directly into the GM Africa
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop growth and portfolio strategy for Africa and assess current/ redefine GtM set-up to achieve strategic objectives
- Daily follow up of Customers and capabilities to execute / implement / activate with 360° operations to assure the continuous business
- Build strong relationships with medical reps, distributors, promotional agencies, regulatory agency.
- Implement the general strategy defined by international Direction for the area.
- Understand how the market operates and get to know the key companies (pharmaceutical distribution and retailing).
- Define objectives and targets per country in terms of budget and products for the team and distributors
- Validate the sales plans of country supervisors and sales agencies and monitor the achievement of the goals
- Review the sell-in strategy (for the doctors) and the sell-out strategy (for the distributors)
- Carry out HR processes for the team like contract renewals and bonus plans
- Represent the company with pharmacy agencies and departments, health authorities and at regional conferences and events
- In agreement with the GM Africa-Whitespace and the SVP CCH International, identify whitespace countries and brands for expansion
- Implement new digital tools
- Based in Paris or Greater Paris with travel to Africa 25-30% of the time
**Profile**:
- Entrepreneurial and passionate
- 5-8 years’ experience as Area Manager or similar for the African area
- Pharmacy, OTC, Healthcare or Medicine professional background
- Knowledge of the local distributors for exportation
- Strong autonomy
- Excellent French and English
- Availability to travel in Africa
