RIMOWA is looking for a qualified Head of Global Media to join our Paris-based Marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you would lead the global brand media strategy as well as campaign roll outs across online and offline channels, by working closely with our local teams in APAC, EMEA, China, Japan and the Americas on approving regional media activations.

**YOUR ROLE**:
1) MEDIA STRATEGY & REPORTING
- Leading the development of RIMOWA’s global media strategy in accordance with brand strategy and sales targets by collaborating closely with internal global and local stakeholders.
- Overseeing RIMOWA’s 16 global and local social media channels and driving innovation, follower growth and engagement.
- Building strategic relationships with key international publishers and media partners.
- Monitoring all media activities and leading the creation of post-campaign reports, together with Performance Marketing, E-Commerce, CRM, PR and other teams.

2) GLOBAL & LOCAL MEDIA PLANNING
- Providing guidance and recommendations on all topics related to RIMOWA’s brand media activations.
- Briefing & guiding local teams and their media agencies to develop impactful media plans with a proven impact on increasing RIMOWA’s brand awareness.
- Leading the media planning of activations with global impact media.
- Exploring innovative or out-of-the box opportunities with media partners.
- Optimizing the media planning process across the regions to ensure efficiency.
- Partnering closely with performance marketing to drive effective full-funnel digital campaigns.
- Sharing and scaling best media practices across markets.
- Identifying the right channels, partners, and target audience for each campaign.

PROFILE

**YOUR PROFILE:
- Fluency English is a must, which is the working language in our international team. Any additional language, especially German, French, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese or Chinese, is a plus.
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience across paid media (especially digital focus), organic social, media strategy in an international environment. Ideally with previous media agency experience.
- Experience of managing a team; role will manage a growing team.
- A media strategist at heart with the ability to build close relationships with media partners and publishers.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms. Knowledge of non-western social media platforms required (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Redbook, KakaoTalk, Line etc.).
- International mentality and open-mindedness to understand the requirements of RIMOWA’s local teams.
- Master of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Have both an entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment and a sharp, analytical mind with killer attention to detail.
- Proven Project Management skills across multiple work streams; meeting deadlines and coming into budget
- A strong team player - Able to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Firm but fair. Honest not divisive. Zero ego. Genuinely nice.
