In order to support Scaleway's ambitious international growth, Scaleway is recruiting a Vice President of Sales who will scale our sales-assisted product-led growth and take us upmarket with a sales-led motion for strategic accounts.

**Mission**

As a Vice President of Sales, you are accountable for onboarding new self-serve customers, uncovering high-value accounts and ensuring maximum adoption and continued success that aligns with our customers’ growth potential. You will manage three existing teams - Key Accounts, Solutions Architects & Customer Success - and will carry targets for both sales-led expansion revenue as well as logo retention.

As a leader within the Revenue department, your north star metric will be the growth of our revenue against our revenue forecast (which you will play in active role in iterating on) but you will be specifically accountable for creating a fluid expansion motion for our existing inbound self-serve pipeline and developing a predictable sales-led pipeline. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer Liam Boogar-Azoulay, you’ll be responsible for structuring and improving upon our sales playbook, segmenting & structuring the teams as we scale rapidly and work on increasingly complex sales cycles, and maintaining a strong culture that rewards overperformers.

Scaleway counts on you to ramp up quickly by auditing our existing sales strategy, processes, tools & pipeline, proposing a 12-month roadmap at the culmination of your onboarding period that will define how we prioritize accelerating sales motion, increasing opportunity size and scaling our sales-led motions. Alongside our acquisition, awareness, product marketing & revenue operations leadership, you’ll be mutually accountable for achieving top-line revenue growth against our revenue forecast.

In addition to being a data-driven leader for your team, you’ll align with other leaders in the Revenue, Product & Customer Excellence departments to ensure you are working towards the same goal of building a streamlined customer experience.

Once you’re settled in, we’ll look for you to methodically balance improving our existing inbound sales motion and strategically developing sales-led motions - mid-market, the public sector, and strategic national industries in Europe where Scaleway is seeing increasing appetite all await you. We’ll also look to you to build a best-in-class sales recruitment & onboarding process, setting the bar for sales excellence in our organization.

Down the road, we expect you to share the local knowledge of the sales team across the Revenue department and Scaleway as a whole, improving our understanding of how customers discover and ultimately choose us.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead our sales strategy to ensure that we are building a solid foundation for targeting & expanding our highest potential customers.
- Take accountability for account expansion & logo retention.
- Ensure a top-tier recruitment & onboarding process to empower our sales team to grow & exceed its targets.
- Work closely with Customer Acquisition to ensure expansion of our highest potential accounts and retention of customers to increase lifetime value.
- Set & maintain ambitious OKRs that draw a direct line between your work's impact and the company's growth strategy.
- Challenge yourself to grow into the role that Scaleway needs tomorrow by pursuing continuous professional development.

**Qualifications**:

- You have previous experience in a sales leadership role selling a product with usage-based pricing to a predominantly self-serve inbound audience.
- You have a strategic mindset, able to both build for the future and execute in the present in a constantly evolving environment.
- You’re humble enough to know which elements of sales you master and which ones you don’t, but you have a clear vision for how they all work and how to manage impactful teams that are accountable for them.
- You are comfortable with technically-differentiated products, terminology & industry players - we don’t need you to understand 100% of our product portfolio, but you should be able to fool a few of our engineers into thinking you do.
- You speak French & English fluently enough to build strong relationships with customers & colleagues.
- You thrive in an autonomous environment.

This position can be either:

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible
- Flex Remote Internationally

**Salary Range**
- Senior Level_

71,000 - 99,000+ EUR per year
