- **About IETR**: Structured into 6 departments and 13 thematic research teams, the work we carry out addresses multiple scientific challenges mainly related to the digital transformation of society, but also to its transitions in terms of the environment, ecology, energy and health. Resolutely open to partnership and collaborative research, the IETR is a partner of choice in its areas of expertise.
The proliferation of satellite communications links has been a very strong trend in the recent years. Megaconstellations of Low-Earth Orbit satellites and new services like Satcom On The Move are under deployment. In this context, it is particularly necessary to seek innovative user antenna terminals that can significantly increase the quality of the radio link, especially in difficult conditions where the satellite is close to the horizon.
**Research objectives and collaborative frame work**
The ultimate objective of the proposed project is to study innovative beam steering antenna solutions with ultra-flat radiating panels operating at Ka-band, both in transmit and receive modes.
- Master Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Solid background in electromagnetic theory, microwave and antennas
- Able to work in a team, hard worker, passionate by research and development activities
