Patrice Beneteau was a 19th-century shoemaker in the little French town
Pouzauges. One day, Patrice decided to make shoes for the local soccer team.
He did such a fine job that the word spread fast and other teams came knocking at his door. So, on a sunny day in 1892, Patrice created Patrick. Not much later he was also producing Patrick shoes & apparel for basketball, cricket, athletics, and leisure.
In the 1930s, Patrick introduced its famous two stripes to technically strengthen the shoes. Patrick was one of the pioneers to use this widely copied technique. Later, the striping became mainly a matter of design, but the two Patrick stripes were there to stay.
As from the 1950s, Patrick sponsored many great legends in soccer, rugby, cycling and other sports: Kevin Keegan, Michel Platini,... Or
Jacques Anquetil and Bernard Hinault, who both won the Tour de France five times. Still, Patrice would have easily kept his cool. That’s what you get when you’ve been around for 129 years.

**Key purpose **Development of sales and sales driven marketing strategies to successfully grow and develop the brand PATRICK and accelerate its expansion in France
**Your challenge**
- Establish professional and personal relationships to the relevant key decision makers and buyers of clubs and accounts in the French region
- Development and implementation of strategies to expand the sales network of PATRICK in the French region
- Development of a network of clubs, amongst other via sponsoring, which promote the brand
- Development of a network of dealers / retailers to sell the Brand
- Support on product development to meet the needs of the French region market
- Ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply for the account as well as to identify and capture selling opportunities to the account
- Development of the the sales and profit of the assigned accounts portfolio
- Development of all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
- Report to the Country Manager, providing regular input on all account activity on a weekly basis and about the market situation in the French region
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable
- Participation in relevant sales-meetings and trades/fairs
- Point of Sales management for an optimal presentation of the brand
- Planning and implementation of promotional events at the client and/or club
- Create a forecast for the region and each channel (dealer/club)
- Understand competitor brands and their development within dedicated region and report trends back to the headquarter
**Your skills**
**Education **Training and experience in sales, sound commercial background, college -degree or similar business-related education
**Experience **Minimum 5+ years of Sales and/or Relationship-Management experience
**Sector **Teamsport/sport/clubs
**Capabilities**
- Proven Club & Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
- A motivated, goal oriented, persistent and skilled negotiator
- High level of independence, initiative and work well in a team environment
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- The ability to communicate to perform your job in English; verbal, written and comprehension
