**Job Description Summary**: BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems is a global leader in supplying the pharmaceutical industry with innovative, high-quality, clinically-proven and customized pre-fillable parenteral drug delivery systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing communications professional to drive change and impact through story-telling, accelerating digital transformation, driving customer intimacy programs and connecting with customers through repositioning and elevating our brand and mission. The Global Omni-Channel Marketing Communications Manager drives the marketing communications strategy for the global business. In the BDM-PS business unit, we are continuing our omni-channel transformation and digital acceleration to ensure that we reach customers along the buying journey with the right message, through the right channel, at the right time working closely with the platforms and sales team. We are also refreshing our brand to further elevate our perception in the market. This is an exciting time for the right associate to join the business and help drive change and lead these efforts.
You will be responsible for brand communications and will lead the development of the integrated marketing communications plan, branding initiatives, design and implementation of strategic campaigns (online and offline), publication strategy (online and offline), tradeshow strategy and execution and content development and deployment across multiple channels to drive impact and consistency in internal and external communications.
You should have the strong capability to tell a story, drive omni-channel campaigns delivered through a strong demand generation practice to increase brand exposure and lead generation.
You will manage 2 direct reports and report to the Global Director, Omni-Channel Marketing and Content Strategy in the BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems organization and will collaborate closely with our Portfolio and Regional marketing teams, cross functional associates and corporate communications.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and implementation of outstanding, global strategic marketing communications plan for BDM-PS global business (including but not limited to branding, strategic campaigns, advertising and publication plans, tradeshows, press releases...) collaborating with key collaborators to figure out efficient mix to achieve business goals
- Develop and execute strategic omni-channel campaigns crafting customer awareness and engagement. Knowledge of content marketing, digital advertising, social media, organic and paid search (SEO), and web content preferred.
- Write internal and external communications including crisis management and press releases - in collaboration with corporate communications - and handle approval processes
- Lead the development of tradeshow and conference strategies with marketing associates; make recommendations as to which shows to attend; ensure alignment with business and marketing objectives. Lead Steering Committee meetings and tradeshow planning teams and ensure they are adequately staffed and engaged.
- Develop creative briefs and review creative concepts to ensure effective alignment with business goals and marketing objectives; facilitate constructive dialogue between marketing partners and agencies driving greater on-target execution, reducing unnecessary iterations and optimizing budget expenditures.
- Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. creative agencies, marcomm and marketing associates, etc.) to execute initiatives strategically and tactical plans. Including, but not limited to collateral development, web projects, customer-centric message development, events, 3rd party publications...
- Provides project leadership, coordination and communication around project status with clients; identifying opportunities to collaborate with internal resources/departments; and supports overall project flow between stakeholders. Ex: internal, agencies, web developers, IT
- Maintain ongoing relationships with BDM-PS global and regional marketers, ensuring communication plans and deliverables are aligned to objectives, strategies and core messages
- Build and maintain relationships with key departments (platforms, regions and functions, brand office, web team, trademark and corporate communications) and consult with them as appropriate to develop and execute impactful strategic communications
- Manage assigned communication budget and tradeshow budget and make recommendations to improve

**Your Background and Experience**:
- BS or BA degree in communication, marketing or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
