As a Geography Expansion Manager, your day will be filled with strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and driving growth. You'll conduct market research, develop tailored entry strategies, and engage with key stakeholders to pave the way for successful market penetration. Navigating cultural nuances and regulatory landscapes will be part of your daily routine as you work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Market Identification**: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential new markets within the EMEA region, assessing market needs, competition, regulatory requirements, and customer demands.
- ** Market Entry Strategy**: Develop and execute tailored market entry strategies, including risk assessment, go-to-market plans, pricing, and distribution channels for each new country.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and nurture relationships with key local stakeholders, including potential customers, agents/distributors, regulators, and industry partners to ensure successful market penetration.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain, to align on market entry strategies, resource allocation, and compliance with regional regulations.
- ** Territory Transition**: Collaborate with Territory Account Managers during the initial phases of market development, providing strategic support until the territory is ready for a full transition to the designated Territory Manager.
- ** Regulatory and Compliance Oversight**: Ensure that all market entry strategies comply with local regulations and our internal quality and compliance standards, collaborating with regulatory, legal, and compliance teams as needed.
- ** Reporting & Analysis**: Track and report on the progress of market entry strategies, providing regular updates to senior management and recommending adjustments based on market feedback and performance.
- ** Business Development**: Proactively identify business development opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances to accelerate market entry and growth.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- ** Experience**: 10+ years of experience in B2B geographic expansion, business development, or market entry, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or packaging sectors in EMEA.
- ** Proven Experience**: Leading market entry projects in the EMEA region, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
