Shiseido EMEA, based in Paris, covers the global activities of fragrance brands Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Serge Lutens, Shiseido Fragrances, Zadig&Voltaire and skincare brand Ulé; as well as the regional activities and distribution of several Group brands: Clé de Peau Beauté, Drunk Elephant, NARS, Shiseido Ginza Tokyo and Tory Burch.
Clé de Peau Beauté, the premier luxury skincare and makeup brand from Shiseido Cosmetics, was founded in 1982 as the ultimate expression of elegance and science. Forever guided by an exquisite aesthetic sensibility and intelligence, Clé de Peau Beauté has instilled its products with modernity, enchantment, and dynamism to emerge as an industry leader in delivering radiance so remarkable, it emanates from within. Sold in select stores worldwide. The brand continues today its expansion in EMEA among a selective distribution in Brick & Mortars (open sell, flagships) and online (e/retailers, pure players).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support both the Brand Manager and the PR/E-PR Manager. Being immersed in both trade & communication environments, will allow you to get a clear understanding of the main marketing & communications challenges that an ultra-premium brand is encountering while expanding in EMEA.
**What are the main responsibilities ?**
- Consolidate regional monthly reports to be shared with brand holder based in Tokyo and internally will all stakeholders
- Highlight the ultra-premium beauty EMEA market insights, including trade, press & influence best practices
- Assist with internal brand events preparation (global, regional, press day, brand week)
- Liaise with local affiliates in their daily operational requests
TRADE MARKETING
- Provide regular comprehensive gross/retail sales performance analysis, alongside with bespoke analytical studies to support the EMEA business (beauty category deep dive based on panels)
- Contribute to the 360° activation plan, develop relevant collaterals for the region (both digital & print), adapt global assets to support the launches in a B&M and e-retail environment
- Coordinate with the creative team the roll out of global visual guidelines reflecting EMEA trade marketing priorities
- Follow up on novelty innovation plan and ensure best-in-class trade execution in the affiliates for P1 launches
PR & INFLUENCE
- Liaise with the markets to consolidate and deliver a synthetic analysis of print and digital press results across the EMEA region
- Assist in the creation of communication tools (press release, campaign guidelines, etc.) and follow-up with the agencies/freelancers
- Participate in establishing influence campaigns and ensure the roll out Prepare and ensure the sending of shopping bags for press and influence
**Who we are looking for**
- You have a first experience in marketing or communication (brand or agency)
- You are at ease with data and show a strong analytical spirit.
- Rigorous, proactive, and autonomous, with a strong sense of organization, you can handle several projects simultaneously.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills; you are agile and demonstrate adaptation capacity in a fast paced and international environment.
- You have a strong knowledge of Office Suite (proficient with Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken & written)
