**Who are we ?**
Volta Medical is an innovative, data-inspired US and European-based startup aimed at creating and bringing to the market cutting-edge AI software products to revolutionize interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
Volta has created a data collection and enrichment ecosystem for curated EP lab data which is fed into a physician validated, machine learning methodology to support complex AF solutions. Our newest technology, Volta AF-Xplorer, is a data-driven AI decision support system that easily integrates into the standard physician workflow, providing a patient-tailored approach to complex AF and AT procedures.
Our dynamic, innovative team is made up of 100+ collaborators in the EU and USA from a wide variety of backgrounds including engineers, business professionals and physicians, working together to develop AI solutions that help electrophysiologists help patients.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Global Learning & Development Specialist to join our team and work closely with our Global VP People and the People team to help us in our mission.

**Key Responsibilities**: In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing effective learning and development programs that support our employees' growth and our organization's strategic goals. You will work closely with various departments to identify learning needs, develop training solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- As a growth enabler, you will also collaborate with the People team in Europe and in the US to establish a cohesive global approach to all people development initiatives, enabling us to collectively achieve our global OKRs.
- Responsibilities include:
**Learning Strategy**:
- Making learning a competitive advantage and lever for talent attraction and retention by building a robust employee learning and development ecosystem.
- Empower, upskill and influence the “learning community” to foster a greater sense of learning autonomy and ownership across the company
- Centralize a learning roadmap and define and track KPIs to measure your impact
- Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.
- Collaborate with department heads, EP Education team and People Operations Managers to align training initiatives with business objectives.
**Training Program Development and Delivery**:
- Define, maintain, continuously improve the learning and knowledge management infrastructure & tools
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning and development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, mentorship program, technical skills training, and soft skills enhancement.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as e-learning, workshops, webinars, and coaching.
- Promote a culture of learning by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions, lunch-and-learns, and other learning initiatives.
- Communicate training programs and initiatives effectively to all employees through various channels.
- Offer expertise in learning design to support business stakeholders in delivering high -quality ad hoc learning initiatives
- Develop and curate engaging and relevant training materials, including manuals, guides, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Design and launch an internal academy to centralize and streamline all learning and development activities.
- Ensure all learning materials are up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on participant feedback and changing organizational needs.
**Learning Management System (LMS) Management**:
- Implement and manage the company's LMS to deliver and track training programs.
- Ensure the LMS is user-friendly, up-to-date, and effectively supports various learning initiatives.
- Analyze LMS data to measure training effectiveness and employee engagement, making data-driven decisions to enhance learning experiences.
**Talent Development**:
- Work closely with the People team and team leaders to integrate learning and development initiatives with talent management strategies.
