Lightspeed is currently seeking a highly capable and dedicated full-time People & Culture Coordinator to join our team.
**What you'll be doing**:
The People & Culture Coordinator provides transactional and administrative support to the People & Culture team to facilitate and ensure accurate delivery of services to support the recruit-to-retire employment lifecycle.
As a People and Culture Coordinator at Lightspeed, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging workplace environment. You will work closely with the People & Culture team EMEA to support various HR and culture initiatives.
- Own the employee lifecycle support, processes and administration for France and Switzerland (new hire paperwork, onboarding, role/salary changes, Workday updates, time off management, leaves and terminations), involving the preparation of documentation, tracking/processing information and record-keeping
- Manage the day-to-day onboarding process, including facilitating weekly orientation, communicating with new hires, and assisting them.
- Continuously evaluate the onboarding process, and make and implement suggestions for improvement.
- First point of contact for team members with questions about People & Culture policies, programs, and benefits, escalating as needed.
- Maintain P&C records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of P&C policies and procedures
- Assist in coordination of employee programs that may include training, recognition, DEI, volunteering, and wellness programs
- Provide a range of administrative and support services to the people & culture function including responding to employee queries, and escalate and redirect issues as required to ensure accurate information is maintained and timely advice is provided
- Stay up-to-date with French and Swiss employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's policies and practices are in compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Drafting contracts and letters, and managing contract end dates, probation review dates and following up with managers to confirm extensions
- Liaising with managers regarding changes within teams, resignations, temporary assignments and secondment
- Partner with People Business Partners on special projects and support the broader People & Culture organization at the company.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Cover administration, processes the People & Culture Coordinator tasks across EMEA countries as needed.
**What you need to bring**:
- At least a Bac +2/3 level, you have an HR Management/Administration
- Intermediate level experience in HR or related roles.
- Employment law knowledge and HR best practices for France and Switzerland
- Fluency (verbal and written) in French and English.
- Experience with Workday.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member.
- Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Strong sense of confidentiality.
- You will also need to be versatile, and flexible and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines/changes from Lightspeed
