Global Key Account Manager, Travel

**What you do**

The Global Key Account Management Team is part of the Global Strategic Partnerships, Travel Ticketing and Lodging area in Allianz Partners.

Your role is to support the travel line of business growth in delivering the most compelling travel protection products and services through a best in class customer experience and the most sophisticated marketing optimization capabilities. You will be part of the team which contributes to increase the travel business mostly concentrated in Europe with links in the USA and APAC. You will manage a portfolio of Global accounts, develop sales opportunities, act as the client’s primary global liaison, negotiate contract renewals and ensure their financial growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Grow and retain Global Accounts by ensuring overall client satisfaction
- Drive results and monitor profitability of the partnerships
- Execute sales activities, including sales planning, business reviews, reports and results
- Manage tenders and renewals of contracts
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g IT, digital, marketing, legal, underwriting etc.) to manage and deliver clients requirements
- Build and maintain a close and trustful relationship with the business units: supporting them when needed and ensuring effective collaboration with the other departments at global level
- Establish and enhance knowledge on products, developments and trends of the dynamic travel industry, compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure Allianz Partners becomes the travel service provider of choice

**What you bring**
- University degree (4/5 years)
- Solid experience of 5+ years in Account Management or Sales
- Fluent English required (German, Spanish or French would be a plus)
- Professional presentation and good negotiation skills
- Sales skills and results oriented character
- Appetite to work in complex multi-national/ multicultural environment
- Ability to manage relationship under stress
- Proactivity, service and strong customer oriented
- Endurance and persistence, commitment and involvement
- Ability to drive actions and achieve results; leading both initiatives and projects to completion
- Strong team spirit
- Act with transparency
- Must possess solid critical thinking skills; must be able to anticipate and solve problems in a systematic manner
- Strong MS Office skills, notably in Powerpoint, Excel
