**Position Title : Spécialiste Recherche et Éducation - Francophonie**

**Le Rôle**:
JoVE recrute un Spécialiste Recherche et Éducation pour la France et les pays francophones. Le Spécialiste Recherche et Éducation sera chargé d’accompagner les membres du corps professoral des universités et des centres de recherche en France, en Belgique, en Suisse, au Luxembourg et au Québec, à intégrer les ressources pédagogiques JoVE dans leurs programmes d’enseignement et de formation.

**Responsabilités**:

- Réaliser des webinaires et des présentations lors de : (1) salons, journées portes ouvertes et conférences (2) séminaires et ateliers universitaires afin de faire découvrir la ressource JoVE et les fonctionnalités associées aux membres des instituts de recherche et des universités.
- Développer et entretenir le relationnel avec les membres de directions (Directeur de départements, Doyens de facultés...), et fournir un support clientèle adapté et personnalisé afin d’assurer la satisfaction et la fidélisation du client pré et post vente.
- Aller à la rencontre des membres du corps professoral et des bibliothécaires sur campus pour accroître la communication sur nos produits et services ( déplacements nationaux et internationaux sont à prévoir à raison de 2 par mois environ).
- Communiquer les retours clients aux équipes de vente, de produit et de marketing.

**Qualifications**:

- Une maîtrise parfaite du français lu, parlé et écrit.
- Un anglais professionnel.
- Bac +5/8 dans un domaine scientifique (STEM).
- Une expérience pertinente dans le milieu académique scientifique : présentation orale à un public averti, chargé d’enseignement, pratique en laboratoire, processus de publication.
- Une appétence pour l’innovation de l’enseignement des sciences et les défis que rencontrent les institutions universitaires.
- Une aisance pour le relationnel et la création de réseau dans le milieu scientifique.
- Une capacité de synthèse lors de communication auprès du corps institutionnel.
- Un fort intérêt pour le service client et/ou la vente dans les domaines des sciences, de l’éducation et de l’édition scientifiques est désirable.
- Une maîtrise de d’outils de présentation tel que powerpoint pour la création de contenus attrayants.

**The Role**

JoVE is currently accepting resumes for the position of Research & Education Specialist for France and French-speaking countries. The Research & Education Specialist will be responsible for helping faculty members at universities and research centers in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Quebec to integrate JoVE’s content into their syllabi.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer-facing role with a focus on outreach to faculty members to boost usage of JoVE resources in the Lab and Classroom (face-to-face, hybrid or remote);
- Delivering product presentations and webinars at: (1) exhibits and conferences (2) University seminars and workshops
- Providing customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams
- Delivering product awareness within new and ongoing customer Universities and Research Institutes
- Maintaining positive ongoing relationships with customer institutes during the sales cycle, and after a sale to provide support and ensure client satisfaction and retention

**Requirements**:

- Masters or a PhD in STEM discipline
- Fluent French & English speaking skills (native/bilingual)
- Teaching & Research experience, particularly in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge of education, market trends and challenges in assigned content areas i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, Engineering or Psychology
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent presentations for large and small groups: faculty members, researchers, libraries
- Experience in networking with scientists and decision makers also by means of cold calling
- Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education/publishing market is desirable
- Knowledge of STEM publishing preferred
- Ability to travel (2 times per month, roughly)
