**A Snapshot of Your Day**

The Finance Director Siemens Energy France will focus on cross-divisional and country-related Finance matters and management of the Finance community, providing a framework for all businesses located in and operating from France.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- You will act as a trusted Partner to the Managing Director France, the Country’s Management Teams and the Sub Region Head of Finance, focusing on cross-divisional and country related Finance matters and management of the Finance community.
- You will represent Siemens Energy towards external stakeholders as a partner of the e.g. Managing Director and businesses.
- You will have the responsibility for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System within France.
- You will act as the Investors’ Advocate by protecting the Assets and driving sustainable Value Creation, e.g. by supporting, yet carefully reviewing relevant investments in e.g. M&A, periodically evaluating the portfolio of the entity, and leading initiatives to reduce the asset base.
- You will lead, overview, manage and escalate country Finance matters e.g. legal topics and compliance to financial rules; financial legal entity governance, financial risk management, foreign exchange and liquidity, local function and financial topics as well as other critical topics.
- Development, adaptation and implementation of lean and efficient organizational structures, procedures and processes considering the relevant legislative and company policies to identify areas suitable for streamlining, safeguard and increase cost-effectiveness.
- Play a key role together with Sub Region, Business Areas and/or Functions for regional cost optimization and provide a lean platform of Corporate Functions and the overall infrastructure for all businesses in the entities assigned.
- Proactively foster cross-country collaboration in the region to achieve the overall business targets.
- Furthermore, you support and drive functional optimization in your country and region.
- You identify, develop and retain regional talents within Finance domain.
- You will be the “Voice of the Country” within the regional organization and drive innovation as well as end-to-end improvements across the country.

**What You Bring**
- Strong operational experience in leading a Finance function for an international organization - ideally for a regional legal entity in a project, sales and service environment.
- A BA/BS/Master’s Degree in Business or Accounting/Finance. ACA, ACCA CIMA or equivalent profession accreditation.
- You speak French and English fluently. International experience either outside of the home country or in a global corporation is an advantage.
- Ideally gained experience in working with corporate functions, specifically Finance (Hub & FSS structures), Tax, HR, Communications etc.
- Strong knowledge in Financial Controlling, Management Accounting (IFRS), Siemens Energy FRG’s and reporting systems/environment as well as local GAAP/ statutory accounts experience.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and reporting requirements as well as international experience combined with proven results in complex management roles.
- ERP and Finance systems knowledge, preferably SAP/Spiridon.
- A reputation for integrity and able to challenge the status quo using a collaborative balance and a networking approach.
- Are proactive, dynamic, decisive & results oriented. As well as collaborative and a team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
