Within SCOR Global P&C, under the management of the Head of Transformation Project Office in the Business Transformation department, the cost Controller will be responsible for the general expense function, which entails monitoring the P&C expenses and headcount, contributing to the budget process, and tracking the transformation financial needs and KPIs. This role also requires running regular and ad-hoc financial reports.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

BAU responsibilities:

- Lead/coordinate the budget preparation process for the BU
- Interface with several functions outside the BU. Establish strong collaboration with Group Cost Control Function as well as SGP&C Finance team
- Lead expense and headcount budget monitoring throughout the year
- Responsible for enhancing the existing P&C general expense function, in connection with the business needs
- Regarding costs as well as headcount, develop tools and dashboards to monitor and share with management the actuals vs plan and recommend actions when required
- Provide ad hoc analysis and findings regarding overall cost and expenses covering direct & indirect costs
- Recommend actions to contain/reduce the overall cost ratio

In the context of the group and P&C transformation additional tasks are required:

- In line with group tools, build and deploy consistent templates for Business Case, ROI, KPIs, etc.
- Identify/Consolidate efficiency savings projects and track & communicate savings/benefits
- Follow closely the transformation execution, provide financial analysis to enable target delivery
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics colleagues within Business Transformation on General expense topics

**Required experience & competencies**

**Experience**:

- 8+ years’ experience in financial controlling in international groups, preferably in Insurance/reinsurance
- Audit, accounting, and corporate finance proven experience
- Experience in Business Performance, and specifically General Expenses management
- Reinsurance/insurance knowledge
- Very good communication written and verbal skills in English

**Digital Competencies**:

- Microsoft office at professional level
- Knowledge of SAP modules, PaPM would be a plus
- Experience in data analysis and visualization and associated tools
