Digital Strategic Planner
As part of our strategy to spearhead the digital transformation of Rothschild & Co Group, we are looking for an experienced digital professional who will report directly to the Group Chief Digital Officer as one of the team members of the digital team, with strong interactions with the entire R&Co business lines and functions.
Rothschild & Co’s Group Digital, reporting to the Executive Committee, has the mission to accelerate the Group's digital transformation, by driving digital strategy and activities, carrying out digital projects for our clients and employees. Our international team of dedicated professionals supports our business lines and geographies in this transformation journey, and transversally supports projects teams and contributors.
To date, the Group Digital roadmap is based on 5 main areas of focus:- Process performance. This area focuses on automation and paperless processing, with group or business line-specific initiatives, such as electronic signatures and Robotics Process Automation.- Data analytics. For our investment banking and private equity businesses, we are developing opportunities to make the most of internal and external data, to strengthen our expertise, our knowledge management and our performance.- Collaboration. The digital roadmap encompasses group projects aiming at fostering employee’s collaboration. In particular, the transformation of our cooperation methods to hybrid work are part of this stream, including collaborative tools.- Strategy & transformation. This last theme includes actions to engage internal teams and communities, training and awareness activities, as well as links with external digital ecosystems.
Our projects and priorities will evolve over time through ongoing dialogue with the business lines. In our operating methods, we have chosen to maintain the principle of a lean team, strongly connected with the business lines and support functions, and reinforced by targeted external expertise.
To help us steer this vast transformation trajectory, we are looking for a new member of the team as a strategic planner who will have a cross-functional support role for Group Digital. He/she will play a critical role in the development and execution of Digital Group strategy, working closely with the Chief digital officer, as well as leaders from the Global Advisory, Wealth and Asset Management, and Merchant Banking business units.
Role overview
The Digital strategic planner supports the appropriate activities and processes to steer and manage the digital roadmap, in coordination with all the relevant stakeholders. He/she supports Group Digital in every activity related to management reviews, performance reports and governance coordination tasks, and contributes to Group digital activities outreach across our organisation.
To achieve his/her mission, the Digital strategic planner interacts with the product/project teams, the heads of department, as well as the different stakeholders within the business lines, COOs, CIOs, Business support teams and support functions.
The Digital strategic planner takes up responsibilities in the following areas:
- Produce and maintain the global digital roadmap, KPIs and operating model,- Drive strategic analysis, market studies and competitive watch,- Ensure link between the digital department and group’s governance, coordinate and prepare key management meetings and presentations,- Coordinate Digital department’s financial reporting and transverse tasks.
