To strengthen our Logistics service team, we are looking for a **Logistics & Warehouse Assistant **for a 2 year apprenticeship contract.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to our Logistics Manager, you will perform a range of logistics and warehouse tasks such as:

- Help the logistics manager to manage carriers' performance (price analysis, monitoring of delivery times, etc.)
- Storage and inventory management. You will participate in inventory, maintenance of documentation, etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes: SAP development, monitoring platform, etc.
- Organize incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouses of the ICAPE group:

- Communicate with freight forwarders to organize deliveries and shipments
- Create documents in SAP (delivery slip, shipments, etc.)
- Coordinate with the Customer Service teams in Europe and the Logistics team in China
- Participate in the reception of goods, sorting of boxes and shipping of pallets in support of the warehouse operator
- Creation of shipping documents in SAP
- Establishment of forwarders shipping documents
- Direct contact with forwarders to arrange deliveries at warehouses and customers
- Coordination with the customer service in France and China
- Handle simple delivery claims
- Support the warehouse operator in daily tasks
- Follow up of the shipment to assure on-time deliveries

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Educated to degree level in a related field or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in logistics (min. BAC+2)
- First experience preferred, but not mandatory. A first experience as logistics assistant / warehouse assistant would be appreciated
- Knowledge of international logistics is a plus
- Fluent in French, good level of English writing and speaking (working in an international context)
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Good adaptation skills, you know how to be versatile in carrying out different missions
- You are methodical and organised
- Friendly contact toward forwarders and colleagues
- Proactive, determined and persevering, with good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
