**Job description and responsibilities**:
In this context, Kurmi Software is hiring for multiple positions including a really exciting and rewarding position of PRE-SALES ENGINEER (or Solution Engineer) to join Kurmi Software Inc. in North America. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for the following activities across multiple technologies (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, BroadSoft,):
- Assisting the Sales team on the qualification of a new opportunity.
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Configuring proof of concept to validate the benefits of software for customers.
- Preparing and managing an answer to a tender (bid management)
- Developing integrator/channel partners and providing technical training.
- Assisting in establishing new, and maintaining existing, technical relationships with customers.
- Persuading clients that a product or a service will best satisfy their needs.
- Supporting marketing and sales by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other product and technical experts.
- Providing training and producing support material for the sales team.
- Providing customer feedback to the product / R&D teams to improve the software.
- Participating and animating major industry events.
- Sharing the Kurmi vision with partners.
**Qualifications**:
- Handle technical and customer relationships.
- Strong business & presales experience i.e. Unified Communication, Collaboration, and conferencing & UCaaS.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Unified Collaborations industry.
- Minimum 3 years in a technical presale organization.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Ability to present topics clearly and concisely to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced business environment with customer interaction, deadlines, and high-value expectations.
- Work effectively with multiple customers from different regions.
- Flexible to travel.
**Desired skills**:
- Engineering in Computer Sciences, Software, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 years in a technical presale organization at a software vendor, system integrator, or Unified Communications vendor.
- A previous experience with Cisco UC (UCM, WebEx, among others) or Microsoft UC (O365, MS Teams, or Skype for Business) Global knowledge of Networks / Telecom, Web Systems, and architectures.
- Ability to discuss Business Objectives, timelines, and ROI with customers.
- Ability to deploy proof of concept from end to end.
- Good knowledge of the UC ecosystems and UC&C partners’ market.
- Independent, Proactive, Curious, Solution-focused, Very Organized.
