**The Technical and Innovation Manager** will be part of the LRV Platform and will report to the Technical Director

**His/her main missions are**:
**Perform market needs analysis and define train architecture in pre-tender and tender**:
oPerform market needs analysis from customer specification (pre-tenders and tenders), taking into

account applicable standards, industrial and sourcing constrains requirements.
- Support product definition and promotion during pre-tender (up to Win/Go review)

**Support tender and project delivery**
- Support tender technical analysis and technical deliveries in consistency with agreed platform and

region strategy
- Support project design reviews and critical technical topics

**Ensure progressive convergence toward product continuous update**
- Specify expected performances, functions and associated interfaces for new development
- Deliver cotations on technical solutions at the utmost cost effective level
- Support standard upgrade watching
- Act on technical orientations/ coordination between the Sub-S managers, PrEM and BTM to reach the best

compromise at train level in agreement with the platform strategy.

**Ensure innovation management applicable to LRV platform**

**Ensure progressive convergence toward product continuous update**

**For this position we look for someone with**:
Extensive technical and Light Rail knowledge, engineering background

An experience on various Projects (and ideally Tenders too)

**and the following set of competencies & skills**
- Balanced skills between general management, technical management and project management
- Strong leadership and ability to federate teams on technical orientations to reach QCD targets
- Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and numerous/various stakeholders
- Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
- Ability to work across sites in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in english

**Travels to TDS will be required on a regular basis ( 1x/2 months)**
