**Job Summary**:
Avantor is looking for a dedicated and creative Inside Sales Team Leader to optimize our Inside Sales team. As a Team Leader for Avantor, you will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager where you will be required to support and manage a young team in a Laboratory environment and manage personally key customers.
This role will be a full-time position based out of our Rosny-Sous-Bois, France office. You will have the opportunity to partner with stakeholders and customers. If you have experience in working in a management or team leading position and previously worked in a laboratory environment

**The team**
Avantor’s Inside Sales team has a young team of 7 Inside Sales Account Managers which you would be managing and supporting.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Education: BA/BSc, Masters or equivalent in a Science or Business discipline (or proven understanding of the laboratory environment / Working towards qualification) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a management or team leading position is essential.
- Prior experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
- Good IT skills required (including CRM tools, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
- Good Analytical skills
- Fluent in both local language and English (written and verbal)
- Capable of holding high level conversations with customers selling the VWR product portfolio
- Must have an in-depth understanding of relationship types and various buyer behaviors.
- Understanding of Avantor processes, procedures, and policies as well as a deep understanding of Avantor functions and the roles they play

- Delivering operational laboratory support, managing your team and their workload
- Acting as a contact for key suppliers and, actively engaging with stakeholders on a regular basis to understand their business requirements.
- Identifying operational efficiencies by implementing process improvements.
- Coaching the sales team to perform in business and CRM effectiveness.
- Transversal work with marketing team for special sales campaigns
