The Customer Data Section Manager will be the guardian of Nissan AMIEO customer data and deploy related projects. In this position, you will take ownership of the data and work with the business to define the programme's objectives.

Your main objectives are to maintain data control in data governance and master data management initiatives on a day-to-day basis.

1. Define the data and identify assets within their own data domains. This ensures there isn't conflict with other data elements. Ensure that customer data is accurate and up-to-date

2. Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence. This includes establishing internal policies and standards-and enforcing those policies.

3. Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.

4. Optimize workflows and communications.

5. Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.

6. Ensure compliance and security of the data.

7. Lead development and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) rules

8. Mapping and understanding of customer data base and customer data collection processes for AMIEO region

9. Lead implementation of approved Customer Data projects within AMIEO region

10. Collaborate with the IS/IT team to ensure appropriate governance & compliance within NCD

**Job requirements**
- Master degree in Data Science / Engineering or Business related field is required
- 5 to 10 years of experience required
- Process oriented

- Experience in supporting data quality and data management related projects within a large scale corporate organization.
- Automotive experience is preferred.
- Data expertise
- Project management

**Specific technical skills**
- Knowledge of information technologies, standards, and best practices prevalent in data governance, data quality, and data privacy.
- Familiarity with data management principles & practices.
- Experience creating and documenting policies & procedures.
- Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical support teams to resolve data issues.
- Ability to communicate successfully with stakeholders at all levels to understand and translate their needs.
- Ability to communicate with highly technical individuals about the desires, insights and observations of the business to ensure development and deployment of appropriate solutions.
- Ability to simplify and streamline complex processes.
