We’re looking for talented people with positive attitudes and a love of the mountains to work alongside a Chalet Chef in our 12-14 bed chalets. You’ll be responsible for laying the table, cleaning the rooms, talking to the guests, assisting the chef, serving breakfast and dinner, making cakes etc. Cooking experience is beneficial in case you need to stand in for the chef in an emergency. Each day varies so we require strong flexibility and willingness, with some days requiring more work such as delivery days, snow clearing etc.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the general running and cleanliness of the chalet alongside the chef, as well as maintaining the hot tub and ensuring guests questions are answered and that they have a great stay.
- Serving all meals alongside chef
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and chalet; with a full chalet turnover weekly.
- Completing admin, relaying stocks to management. Maintain weekly budgets and ensure all receipts are submitted in an efficient and timely manner.
- Snow clearing.
- Daily testing and maintenance of hot tub chemical levels with a full water change each week.
The setup: boutique, independent company, seven catered chalets in La Plagne, 95%+ occupancy, 4.97/5 across 314 reviews. We do food properly and we’re proud of it.
You’ll love it here if you have ample hospitality experience and/or customer-facing experience, some cooking experience, and you want a season with purpose that still allows plenty of ski time.
