An international industrial group, part of a large publicly listed multinational corporation, is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of technological solutions for professional applications. With a solid commercial and manufacturing presence across Europe, Asia, and North America, the company operates through globally recognized brands, providing integrated solutions to its clients in key international markets. Position The Country Manager France will hold full responsibility for the French subsidiary and its commercial development within the garage equipment industry. The role includes direct management of commercial activities, the local team, and key strategic customer relationships, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a hands‑on, problem‑solving approach. The Country Manager will act as the main interface between the French subsidiary and the Italian headquarters, ensuring operational continuity, alignment with global strategies, and business growth in the market. Responsibilities Full management of the French subsidiary, with a turnover of approximately €30 million (85% distribution, 15% direct customers). Lead and coordinate a team consisting of around 9 commercial resources plus 3 staff roles, while also managing the commercial sales representative based in Belgium. Manage strategic customers directly and serve as the single point of contact for major French multinational clients. Strengthen the agent network by providing field support and improving relationship quality, engagement, and overall performance. Lead the organisational development and restructuring of the subsidiary. Act as the coordination link between France and Italy for commercial, operational, and after‑sales activities. Analyse KPIs, market dynamics, opportunities, and critical issues, proposing targeted actions for growth and optimisation. Manage the distributor network and direct customers, ensuring high service levels and commercial continuity. Operate as the “entrepreneur of the country”: independently solving issues, making quick decisions, and guiding the subsidiary with full responsibility. Candidate Profile Solid experience (8–10 years minimum) in commercial or country management roles, with responsibility for revenues above €15–20 million. Background in related sectors: garage equipment, technical tooling, industrial electronics, diagnostics, metalworking, or technical products for the automotive market. Experience managing distributor networks and agents, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support teams under pressure. Empathetic, collaborative approach focused on supporting the sales network. Entrepreneurial attitude: strong autonomy, hands‑on problem solving, and willingness to “get things done” personally when needed. International mindset: experience abroad or within multinational environments (preferably non‑French multinationals). Fluent French and English are mandatory; additional languages are a plus. Excellent relational, negotiation, and complex account management skills. Willingness to travel weekly within the French territory.
