OverviewOur client is one of the largest and most innovative construction companies in Vietnam, seeking to undergo a massive digital overhaul to address long-standing manual processes and red tape.They are seeking a forward-thinking, communicative, and worldly Head of IT / Digital Transformation to lead the planning, implementation, and scaling of digital initiatives across their construction and manufacturing operations. You will join a special task force reporting to the chairman. Success will spark a wave of transformation across the affiliated group and may lead to advancement opportunities at the Group level or C-suite.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise software implementation and driving change management—preferably in construction, real estate development, or related project-based industries (not required). They should also have a motivation to return and contribute to Vietnam’s growth in the long term.Fluency or near-fluency in Vietnamese is required, without exception. The role offers an expatriate package to the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a company-wide digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals and operational needs.Lead the evaluation, selection, and rollout of new software platforms (e.g., ERP, project management tools, field productivity apps, procurement systems).Serve as the bridge between business users and IT vendors, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and user-friendly.Manage full project lifecycle for digital initiatives from requirements gathering and vendor management to implementation and training.Drive change management initiatives to foster adoption and improve digital literacy across construction/manufacturing teams and business units.Identify pain points and inefficiencies in current processes, and recommend technology-driven solutions to streamline operations.Monitor KPIs and ROI of technology investments; regularly report progress and performance to executive leadership.Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation across departments.Stay updated on construction tech trends (e.g., BIM, drones, AI-based scheduling, IoT) and assess their applicability to the company.RequirementsAt least 8 to 15 years of experience in digital transformation, IT program management, or business process improvement.Fluent or near-fluent in Vietnamese.Ability to relocate to Vietnam — ideally before the end of 2025.Strong track record leading successful software implementation projects (e.g., ERP, document management, field operations platforms).Prior experience in the construction, engineering, real estate, or infrastructure development industries is highly preferred.Excellent understanding of organizational change management, including communication and training strategies.Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, IT, procurement, and field teams.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships concurrently.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort with data, dashboards, and KPIs.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field.If you are qualified and interested, we kindly invite you to apply.
