Fight for simplicity: only high impact processes, smart frugality. ⭐️ Public Sector at Alan ⭐️ Since 2022, our Public Sector team has evolved from being a bet into becoming Alan's biggest acquisition driver in 2024 and 2025. Its recent successes, illustrated by our victory on the Ministère des Finances, the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile, the Ministère de l’Ecologie, the Services du Premier Ministre, and earlier the Assemblée Nationale (combining up to 300k members), have demonstrated the value of Alan’s offer and its ability to tackle high volume collective contracts. This strategic shift will enable us to pursue three parallel opportunities : Scale our presence in Établissements Publics through a structured, repeatable approach. This required developing a response knowledge library and efficient organisation processes. Launch and execute our go-to-market strategy for Fonction Publique Territoriale and prepare our approach for Fonction Publique Hospitalière. ⭐ Your mission ⭐ In this context, we are looking for a Public Sector Account Executive. You will be responsible for developing our Public Sector portfolio across ministries, territorial communities, and public institutions. Your main mission will be : 1. Portfolio development & prospection Define strategic targets in the public sector Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RfPs (calls for tenders) Respond to relevant RfPs - there is an important written and project management part Prepare for and participate in oral presentations Post-win, oversee Alan's deployment in collaborations with Key Account Manager and ensure admins and members high satisfaction 2. Continuous improvement CRM: contribute to building the appropriate set-up in Salesforce to track sales activity of public segment and ensure proper hygiene for the entire team RfP Library: Support the team in standardizing and industrializing our RfP response process to increase efficiency and win rates Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform Alan's public sector strategy, consolidating RfP debriefs, client expectations, and competitive differentiators Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to ensure Alan's offerings remain competitive and tailored to FPT and FPH needs Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned with the Public Sector team to drive collective improvement The Alan way of selling We've developed the Alan Smart & Soft selling method: Smart: Leverage precise messaging and materials to educate and inspire Soft: Create tailored, high-touch strategies for each prospect Experience: Deliver a seamless journey that reflects Alan's customer-first approach Beyond sales As an Alan team member, you'll: Shape our product evolution Contribute to improving our methods and strategy Participate in growth initiatives Be part of a collaborative team that thinks big ⭐ Is it you we’re looking for? You will be a great fit to join the Public Sector Sales team at Alan if you have a unique blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, attention to detail, and public sector understanding/interest. What is a must to thrive in this position: A proven ability to manage C-level discussions and influence key decision-makers, with a high level of formalism Full working proficiency in French (C2 and above) including in formal contexts, and advanced level in English Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced and intense environment Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across various crews and communities Strong desire to understand the French public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders You are based in (or willing to relocate to) the Paris area. What is a nice-to have: Outstanding project management capabilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail Adaptability and resilience in navigating the complexities of public sector sales cycle Prior experience and demonstrated track record of closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles is a clear plus. Prior experience with RfPs is a clear plus. For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-D level range. Everything else is a plus.
