Detailed Job Description

As a Network Technician / IT Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, integration, and testing of telecommunications and networking equipment. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable network performance and successful deployment of telecom infrastructure. The role requires practical knowledge of networking fundamentals, troubleshooting, and telecommunications technologies, including base stations, antennas, and related equipment. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in real-world network implementation projects while developing valuable technical expertise within a leading international client environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support telecommunications and networking equipment.
  • Perform commissioning, integration, and system‑level testing of network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot routing, switching, LAN, WAN, and IP connectivity issues.
  • Configure and verify IP addressing, network connectivity, and device communications.
  • Conduct technical inspections and ensure operational readiness of deployed equipment.
  • Operate telecommunications testing and measurement tools during installation and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor network performance and assist in fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, optical, and RF safety standards and procedures.
  • Document deployment activities, test results, and technical findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and project teams to achieve successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in Telecommunications, Networking, IT Infrastructure, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Routing & Switching concepts.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP networking, and telecommunications fundamentals.
  • Experience working with telecommunications equipment such as BTS, base stations, antennas, towers, or related infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform system commissioning, integration, and functional testing.
  • Experience using telecommunications tools and test equipment.
  • Hands‑on troubleshooting skills for network connectivity and IP configuration issues.
  • Understanding of electrical, optical, and RF safety practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Basic French language proficiency (minimum A2+ level).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Experience supporting mobile network deployments and radio infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G telecommunications technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
