Techponics is an agritech company automating hydroponic production systems for greenhouse and field‑scale leafy greens. We develop fully automated hydroponic pond systems combining robust mechanical hardware with proprietary software and AI to secure production, reduce labor dependency, and enable scalable farming. We are looking for a Senior Industrialization & Mechanical Sourcing Lead to take ownership of industrialization, mechanical sourcing, and supplier strategy for our automated systems. Position: Full remote (Europe) Travel: Occasional supplier / site visits Responsibilities Lead industrialization and sourcing of mechanical and electromechanical components Select, qualify, and manage suppliers (mainly Europe) Challenge mechanical designs with a strong focus on cost, manufacturability, and lead times Drive make‑or‑buy decisions and cost optimization Negotiate prices, contracts, and technical specifications Manage supply‑chain risks end‑to‑end Work closely with project management, automation, and innovation teams Contribute to standardization, documentation, and future scale‑up Profile 10+ years of experience in industrial environments Strong mechanical engineering background Proven experience in industrialization, technical procurement, or supply‑chain Hands‑on knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, welding, machining, casting) Comfortable reviewing mechanical designs and working with CAD tools Autonomous, pragmatic, ownership‑driven Fluent professional English Fully remote mindset Why Techponics High‑impact senior role in a fast‑scaling industrial agritech company Strong autonomy and direct influence on product and cost structure Fully remote position Work at the intersection of hardware, automation, and AI‑powered agriculture #J-18808-Ljbffr
