Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) - Claims Management We’re building the insurance infrastructure that 700K+ people depend on across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. The mission & impact Our mission is to refund each member as fast as we can and the right amount, while being cost‑effective for Alan. We handle internal critical parts to process health claims, making this product division technical, deep, and exciting. What you’ll build and who you’ll work with The Claims Management team is in charge of refunding €350M+ of healthcare expenses a year to 1M+ members across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. Document processing: 2M documents received each year, automatically parsed with LLMs; we want to improve this. Claims experience: Build the most memorable and straightforward experience for members to understand guarantees and claim refunds across 4 countries and devices. Payments: Build payment infra & source ingestion for fast refunds, avoiding member advances. Fraud fighting: 4M€ saved in 2024 using ML scoring, anomaly detection and manual investigations. Is it you we’re looking for? Passionate about creating delightful products with exceptional user experiences, building at scale. Good experience building and shipping web applications. Interest in the business side – understanding conversion funnels, marketing metrics, growth drivers. Clear career progression – increasing responsibility, scope, impact. Open to TypeScript and Python in a cross‑platform environment; familiar with modern web technologies; proficient in OOP (Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C#). Engineering team In our engineering team we build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first‑class service to members, health professionals, and ourselves. We move fast, own product decisions and development, and use a stack of React, Python/Flask, PostgreSQL in a monorepo. Daily deployments and distributed ownership promote ownership.
