Senior Internal Auditor | Global Technology Business | Paris | France
Our client, a large multinational organisation, is looking to strengthen its audit team with the addition of an Internal Auditor to support a growing global workload. You will join a sizeable international audit and controls function, delivering group-wide reviews and testing programmes while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver audit activities across the business and support the development of audit and engagement plans alongside the Senior Manager, Head of Audit, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, assessing financial, operational, and risk management controls against policies, procedures, and auditing standards.
- Partner with business process owners to improve controls, drive efficiencies, and support automation and data analytics initiatives.
- Carry out audit planning, fieldwork, and work paper documentation in line with internal audit standards, IFRS, local GAAP, and departmental policies.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and support wider audit projects and initiatives.
Profile
- 4-7 years’ experience within audit, accounting, or consulting, with exposure to operational and financial audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, alongside a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP, internal audit, internal controls, SOX/COSO, ICFR, and IIA standards.
- Fluent business English is essential. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic, or other international languages would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% as part of this global function.
