Flatpay, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in France. This role is vital to our financial operations and requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual with strong technical expertise. What you’ll do Assist with daily bookkeeping and ensure accurate, timely entries. Process supplier invoices and general expenses; help maintain accounts payable records. Support customer invoicing and help maintain accounts receivable follow‑up. Help prepare documentation for VAT reporting and ensure basic compliance with local tax requirements (with guidance). Contribute to month‑end tasks: reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of supporting schedules. Collaborate with BI and Sales to gather inputs for payroll (incl. commission data) and coordinate with our payroll provider as needed. Maintain organized financial files and support internal/external audits by preparing requested documentation. Participate in process improvements and cross‑team initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Who you are To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, or an internship/alternance in a similar role. Fluent in French and comfortable in English (written and spoken). Solid Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of basic accounting principles; exposure to VAT concepts is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Business Central (or another ERP) is an advantage.
