About the Team The Channel Sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and collaborative group based in Paris, France. This team is dedicated to fostering strategic partnerships and driving growth through effective channel management. The culture within the team emphasizes a positive attitude, high energy, and a commitment to problem‑solving, enabling team members to align their efforts towards achieving collective goals. The mission of the Channel Sales team is to enhance partner engagement and facilitate business development, ensuring mutual success for both Nutanix and its partners in the rapidly evolving IT industry. You will report to the Director, Channel & Ecosystems, who leads with an emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and strategic thinking. The hiring manager encourages team members to take initiative and adopt a solutions‑oriented mindset, fostering a workplace where everyone feels empowered to contribute. This role requires a hybrid work setup, where the ideal candidate will need to be in the office at least three days a week to engage with partners and collaborate effectively with internal teams. The travel requirements for this position are minimal, with an estimated travel percentage of 40%, primarily focused on partners located in and around Paris. The travel may include attending events, business meetings, and interactions that are essential to developing and strengthening relationships with key partners. Your Role Engage with key partners to develop relationships and support their business growth. Lead by example in sales capabilities, driving initiatives to meet and exceed quotas. Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and ensure effective communication. Track and report on sales results and partner performance metrics regularly. Develop and implement strategic plans for partnership engagement and business development. Provide coaching and guidance to partners on effective sales techniques and Nutanix offerings. Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends to inform partner strategies. Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and drive new customer acquisition efforts. What You Will Bring 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years in business development. Proven partner management experience, demonstrating strategic thinking and execution. Strong sales capabilities with direct sales or account management experience as a significant advantage. Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Resilience in managing long sales cycles and complex deals, with problem‑solving abilities. Empathy for partners and customers, understanding their business models and strategies. Positive attitude and high energy to motivate self and others in achieving results. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking sales and partner performance. Work Arrangement Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
