Senior Account Manager - Payments / Fintech– France and Benelux – ParisPayments, Acquiring, Merchant recruitment, Merchant relations, hospitality, luxury, travel, airlinesOverviewOur client is a global card scheme seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a track record of working with Merchants and/or Payment schemes.You will be supporting the company’s Merchant Network strategy by promoting card acceptance, recruiting high value merchants, managing key merchant accounts and ensuring operational enablement in France and the Benelux markets.You will liaise with merchants, acquirers, payment institutions, terminal vendors and third-party companies to build and maintain strong relationships with them.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain partnership relationships with key merchants’ accounts directly and relevant Licensees to drive acceptance activityManage the operational activities and relationships of the merchant recruitment team, e.g. merchant recruitment, terminal issues resolution etcBuild and maintain relationships with partners including terminal vendors, PSPs and other systems-related partnershipsLiaise with London Headquarters to develop specific campaigns and promotionsSupport marketing partnerships with companies in France and Benelux markets utilizing their distribution channels to increase brand visibilityUnderstand the acquiring market structure and the main players in each areaRecruit merchants for card acceptance and manage key merchant accountsPrepare and submit reports on merchants’ operations activities and results to managementCoordinate with the Head of Acquiring Sales for merchant deployment activities and recruitment of AcquirersProvide induction training and on-going support to team membersProvide administrative support to the business to ensure efficient and effective operation of the merchants’ operations and marketing functionTravel within France, Benelux and London when requiredComply with policies and proceduresSkills, Knowledge and ExperienceExperience in payment card Industry or financial servicesDemonstrable passion for sales and business developmentExcellent interpersonal skillsGood presentation skills, able to communicate clearly at all levelsCommercial awarenessDemonstrable creative and innovative abilityAbility to make compelling presentationsAbility to influence and sell ideas to diverse groups, in particular Tier 1 merchantsProactive, sense of urgency and reliableAble to work alone and within a teamMinimum 5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketingExperience in team supervisionFluency in English and French #J-18808-Ljbffr
