Position: Logistics Manager
About the Role
The Logistics Manager will ensure all equipment required for projects is available and delivered on time to prevent delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect the needs of the Mechanical Engineering Technicians, determine supply needs, and purchase spare parts to the head office.
- Implement and organize the warehouse physically and digitally.
- Create storage procedures in accordance with rules implemented by the French head office.
- Determine required stock levels by reference and maintain stock, including regular inventories.
- Liaise with suppliers.
- Check the quality of goods and raise complaints if non‑compliance occurs.
- Make inventories to check stock levels.
- Receive packages and manage their storage in the warehouse.
- Maintain spare‑parts stock levels per head office requirements.
- Use logistics software to manage stock levels, place orders, organize shipping and deliveries, and generate statistics and analysis.
- Order spare parts to the French warehouse according to stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Technical Supervisor to ensure best after‑sale service.
- Liaise with the French supply concerning goods and transportation requirements.
- Coordinate and manage transport logistics in Australia and abroad.
- Oversee storage and deliveries, in full autonomy.
- Deliver packages on site.
- Package goods in accordance with shipping standards.
- Ship goods in Australia and abroad.
- Manage operational warehouse planning including transport coordination, inbound receipt, and palletising.
- Play a key role in projects, ensuring processes are well applied.
- Contribute to the company development in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in construction machinery.
- Experience in inventory management and reporting.
- Experience coordinating and managing transport logistics.
- At least 12 months of relevant experience.
- Experience working for a drilling equipment company.
- Fluency in French and English.
