As a Platform Engineer in the Tech Foundations team, you will help product crews thrive by building world‑class infrastructure, enhancing developer experience, and ensuring operational excellence. Scope & Focus for 2026 Infrastructure enablement for product crews (hosting, CI/CD, scalability, multi‑cloud). Security and compliance facilitation (authentication, encryption, threat protection). Developer productivity enhancements (local environment, monorepo tooling, observability, tech stack evolution). Design and development unification (design system, accessibility). AI‑assisted engineering enablement (agentic development, code assistants, MCP servers). In 2026 we aim to grow our cloud footprint, elevate quality across backend, frontend, and mobile, and expand AI‑augmented development, especially for non‑engineers. Qualifications 3 + years of experience as a Platform or Systems Engineer. Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and observability tools. Comfortable writing automation and tooling code (APIs, command‑line tools). Experience as a Full‑Stack or Backend engineer. Willingness to work with Python/JavaScript. Understanding of modern deployment practices and CI/CD. Strong debugging skills for complex system issues. Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, and humble mindset. Collaborative and enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching. Fluency in English (French not required). Responsibilities Design and implement robust infrastructure systems focused on reliability and observability. Maintain uptime targets while optimizing infrastructure costs. Improve incident management processes and lead post‑mortems. Build and maintain internal tooling (APIs, web interfaces, command‑line tools) for other engineers.
