You will play a key role in shaping our core products and developing innovative features in collaboration with Frontend Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and Scrum Masters.Responsibilities:Design and build geo-distributed backend systems using microservices architectureDevelop API-centric systems using GraphQL and RESTCreate and manage queueing systemsProactively suggest and implement system evolutions and improvementsTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Python programmingExperience building APIs with hexagonal architectureExperience with SQL databases, especially MySQLFamiliarity with revision control systems like GitCommitment to continuous learning and skill improvementAbility to produce high-quality code, including unit and functional testing, with knowledge of TDDExperience with code reviews and providing constructive feedbackStrong problem-solving skills and interest in technical innovationEffective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical team membersProficiency in written and spoken English for documentation and meetingsNice to Have:Experience with PHPKnowledge of CI/CD, automation tools (Jenkins), and DockerUnderstanding of microservices architectureWillingness to share knowledge with peersAt Dailymotion, we empower candidates to take action.
