We’re looking for an experienced and creative PR Manager to help expand our brand reach and shape our story worldwide. About the Role Own Photoroom’s relationship with the media Handle all media communications, press releases and interview prep for our executive team. Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, bloggers and influencers in our English‑speaking markets. Work closely with the executive team to prioritize and react to opportunities. Lead our global PR program Onboard and brief local partners to build relationships and secure coverage in key markets (US, UK, Brazil, Mexico and Japan). Collaborate with agencies and our international team to understand what stories resonate in each market and guide PR activities. Drive agency performance to deliver high‑quality results against measurable KPIs. Own our brand messaging and positioning Regularly review and refine brand messaging to ensure it resonates with target audiences and media. Communicate positioning internally so every team member understands our core narrative. Create brand narratives as content pillars for PR and thought leadership strategies. Collaborate with marketing to align all marketing surfaces with brand positioning. Find and tell compelling data‑driven stories to the media Analyze recent press, internal data, industry trends, surveys and user stories to identify newsworthy narratives. Partner with subject matter experts to craft engaging press releases, thought leadership pieces and pitches. Track and report on PR initiatives’ success and use insights to inform future plans. About You Experienced: 6‑8 years in PR or a related field, with a proven track record of leading campaigns and securing significant coverage for apps or SaaS products aimed at SMB/ecommerce audiences. Creative thinker: Able to turn insights into campaigns that cut through noise and generate media and influencer coverage. Data‑driven: Comfortable diving into dashboards, commissioning surveys and framing data‑backed narratives around our brand. Storyteller: Outstanding written and verbal communicator in English, with a flair for storytelling and experience developing brand‑level messaging. Interviewer: Skilled at asking probing questions to surface valuable info from subject matter experts and communicate it clearly to journalists and audiences. Media savvy: Strong network in media, with a knack for building relationships with journalists, influencers and industry partners. Decisive: Quick to identify and react to new opportunities while handling challenges efficiently. Internationally‑minded: Experience working with global markets, including the US, and sensitivity to cultural nuances. Design and photography oriented: Interest in photography and an understanding of what makes a great image.
