Paris, France Ageras Advisor Temps plein

Location: Paris or Berlin (Full-time, Permanent) Shine exists to help freelancers and small business owners reclaim the joy of working for themselves. Running a business shouldn't mean drowning in financial admin – it should be inspiring and rewarding. Our software brings banking, invoicing, accounting and admin together in one place, so entrepreneurs can focus on what matters most: growing their business and enjoying the freedom of working for themselves. We're a multicultural team of over 400 people across France, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. By bringing together leading European fintechs like Shine, Kontist and Tellow, we've built a single, intuitive platform designed for simplicity, speed and accuracy – backed by local, award‑winning support. Your Hiring Experience Matters Just as we respect our customers' time, we respect yours. Your experience with Shine should feel simple, transparent and genuinely supportive. Why This Role Exists We’re preparing to launch our own card program across all core markets, and we’re building the dedicated Cards team from the ground up. “Cards” will be an impactful component of our banking experience, and we need a Product Manager who genuinely loves the craft of card issuing, payments, strategical card schemes, and operational excellence. We’re not planning on growing the team in the near future, so this role is not for someone motivated by team size or organisational hierarchy, it’s for someone who genuinely lights up when talking about card processors, BIN configurations, and scheme compliance. What You’ll Do As Product Manager you’ll play a key role in providing deep domain expertise and ownership while designing, driving and scaling our new card program. Reporting directly to VP of Banking Sebastian Akselsen, you’ll partner closely with an Engineering Manager and other key stakeholders across the business. Your mission Lead the card program launch: Own the integration with our card processor and deliver our first Shine‑issued cards. Drive discovery & delivery: Identify customer needs, clarify opportunities and drive impactful delivery. Master card operations: Ensure robust integrations, monitor performance, manage incidents, and guarantee reliability. Shape our cards strategy: Build deep domain expertise and translate industry trends into opportunities for Shine. Milestones you will drive 3 months: The mission is to build a strong team and build the foundation within cards interacting with our core banking system, enabling us to issue our own cards across all our core markets in time. 6 months: you have succeeded in launching our own card programme in one of our core markets. 1–2 years: Our cards are issued across the markets. Must-have Skills 3–5 years as a Product Manager (banking/fintech is of course a strong plus). Proven expertise in Product Discovery, Delivery, and Data Analysis. Experience in cards, payments, or banking infrastructure. Comfortable navigating an ambiguous environment where not everything is given up front. Strong understanding of system architecture and product/tech interdependencies. Experience managing incidents/bugs and ensuring operational excellence. Fluent in English. French, Danish or German is a plus. A strong product mindset is key. For Us, a Genuine Fit For This Role Means Customer obsession: You always connecting product decisions to user impact. Operational ownership: You takes responsibility for driving the product, also in critical moments. Storytelling & influence: You can turn complex payment concepts into clear narratives. Curiosity and tempo: You stay on top of trends, push for continuous improvement, and move with urgency. Cross‑functional cooperation: You collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders across teams. A genuine interest in cards You don’t need to be a full expert on day one, but you should want to be. Why Join Us? Impact: Cards are the foundation of modern banking – you’ll directly shape our ability to serve entrepreneurs across Europe. Ownership: Build a new product and team from scratch, with support from experienced leaders. Innovation: Work in a dynamic, ambitious environment with space to grow and try our ideas and approaches. Mission‑driven: Like our mission to help entrepreneurs succeed by giving them better, smarter banking and administrative tools. Mission‑driven culture: Help entrepreneurs succeed with smarter financial tools. Hiring Process Screening with Talent team – Initial talk. Interview with Hiring Manager – Elaboration on experience, the company, mutual role expectations and alignment. Case study discussion – In the case study, we’ll deep dive into your skills in data analytics, and strategic approach, your knowledge and curiosity about banking and cards. Personality assessment (PTP) + Final Interview – Who are you and how can we help you succeed in this role? + Anything important we mutually haven’t covered – now’s the time Offer #J-18808-Ljbffr
