Accounting Manager

We’re extremely proud to be certified one of the “Best Workplaces” Who you’ll work withYour mission is to help the Account Management team build an engaged and always growing community of trusted fleet partners (privates and professionals) across Europe.You will work on the development and the retention of small to large fleets partners for Getaround’s French market.What you’ll doManaging the accounting team (2 people) and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department for all our entities in EU.Ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and financial records.Support monthly (D+5) and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals.Work with FP&A to identify and explain fluctuations in monthly financial information.Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory financial filings.What you’ll bringBachelor's Degree in Accounting (BTS / DCG) or higher.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.Fluent in French and English.A previous successful experience with Netsuite.You are a pro-active, detail oriented person with an analytical mindset.You are a reliable person, organized and willing to meet deadlines.What we offer🌎 Getaround Europe is a fast-growing startup located in the center of Paris, with global headquarters in San Francisco and an office in Oslo.
