Description and Requirements Lenovo France is looking for a new Leader for its Channel and Small Businesses Organization based in Rueil-Malmaison (92 – Paris area) At Lenovo, the French Channel Sales Director is fully accountable and responsible for all indirect sales of our End User Compute, Data Centre / Infrastructure, Solutions and Services portfolio across the French market. The role is accountable for the operational success, strategic alignment and integration of all organizational activities that is required to deliver success across Lenovo’s expansive channel partner community. End to end responsibility for the revenue, profitability, and market share performance of Lenovo’s commercial channel organization. Alongside the key operational and strategic goals and priorities of the business. Leading a successful team, the selected candidate will carry the responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans within this key area of responsibility. The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business. Reporting to Lenovo’s Managing Executive Director for France. As the new leader your Responsibilities are : Accountable for indirect business growth, increase Lenovo market share and revenue Coordinates all Lenovo sales activities in the area-of-control. Sets and delivers ambitious goals for their organization Develops tactics and marketing programs to generate new sales. Provides executive guidance on overall sales strategy, cost optimization, and disciplined process of management Optimizing sales resource coverage to ensure our partner landscape is managed effectively and delivering the best results Building a pipeline of future talent and succession planning. Ensuring we demonstrate a long-lasting, diverse and inclusive organization Builds meaningful relationships with partner and customer accounts. Coach and support sales teams and leadership in developing key and / or difficult account opportunities Develops the consultative, solution selling capability that leverages the One Lenovo portfolio to develop compelling business cases to differentiate and highlight the value of Lenovo's broad commercial portfolio of products, services and solutions Demonstrates in depth knowledge of the industry and provides external leadership to industry, community and press relations Works collaboratively across the organization at a market, EMEA and Global level to maximize the strategic priorities of the wider Lenovo organization Balances short term with long term planning and resource investment Demonstrates thought leadership by building propositions and offerings for the market Directing the customer's application of technology to critical business outcomes Creates a performance driven culture that ensures Lenovo has the best channel sales organization in the industry. Travel within France and Internationally as required. You are expected to bring the following Knowledge And Skills : Strategic Sales Planning & Implementation - Provides input to the development of strategic sales plans that reflect Lenovo's business strategy. Advancing revenue goals, market share, channel penetration and achieve profitable growth. Budget Management & Cost Optimization - Maximiser business performance within set spending and investment guidelines P&L Management - Sets and manages the business investments and resource allocations essential to ensuring the financial growth of business group. Workforce Planning - Executes acquisition and development strategies targeted to ensuring workforce readiness, and market opportunity responsiveness. Execution Management - Collaborates effectively with Lenovo’s wider organization and channel organization. Ensuring alignment to the wider organizational strategy, whilst at the same time, responding to key local market opportunities builds and leads strong executive relationships that establishes Lenovo as a strategic and consultative partner amongst the channel community Competitive Positioning / Strategy - Uses competitive intelligence in account planning and sales activities to develop strategies that will see Lenovo as the leading partner of choice Business and Financial Acumen - Exhibits authoritative business and financial acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations. Understand commercial drivers of channel partners and balance with Lenovo’s business objectives Change Management - Acts as an advocate for innovation and change across the organization. Problem Solving - Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution. Leadership - Able to lead effectively in a complex environment and deliver results; Able to influence both with and without direct authority; Able to balance between competing priorities and be flexible and creative; Able to drive team performance to be considered as industry leading Able to create and build a highly effective sales teams and UK&I organization at Lenovo Able to communicate effectively across multiple levels in client and partner organizations, internally within Lenovo and across the industry. Our expected typical Education And Experience are : University or bachelor’s degree and / or Masters in Business Administration is a minimum Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with a high level of respect and integrity 5-10 years of sales leadership experience 10-15 years of industry experience. Strong executive relationships within the French channel reseller and distribution market Experience across commercial channels including specialist routes to market including Collaboration, Cloud Service Provider, System Integrator and Infrastructure specialists Demonstrated results in growing a business or expanding a market. #J-18808-Ljbffr
