Your mission will be tolead HR legal topics across Europe, manage employee relations, and provide strategic legal guidanceon both individual and collective matters.
You will play a key role in turningcomplex legal and employee-relations topics into clear, practical, and business-oriented solutionsthat support Scaleway’s growth.

AsHR Legal & Employee Relations Manager, you will work closely with theCHROand act as a key legal partner to the HR organization.
You will ensurelegal consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment across our European entities and locations, while partnering closely with HRBPs, managers, and internal stakeholders on sensitive and high-impact topics.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
Pilot HR implementation for new country openings,including local benchmarks, employment contracts, and social protection compliance.
Coordinate and challenge external legal counsel and payroll providersacross different European regions to optimize compliance.
Manage international mobility files,including secondments, expatriation, and cross-border recruitment.
Act as the lead internal expert for managementon all employment law matters (contracts, working hours, disciplinary actions, and terminations).
Oversee pre-litigation and litigation casesin direct collaboration with specialized law firms.
Maintain legal watchto ensure the company remains compliant with evolving French and European legislation.
Prepare and co-animate meetings with Employee Representative Bodies (CSE)and various social committees.
Define strategy and lead negotiationsfor collective company agreements.
Advise leadership on the social climateto maintain constructive and secure dialogue with social partners.
HARDSKILLS:
- At least 5 years of experiencein a similar role, ideally including experience in a law firm and/or an international environment.
Significant experience in social relations,including managing instances and collective bargaining.
Full English fluencyfor daily interaction with international employees and foreign legal cabinets.
SOFT SKILLS:
