Job Title: Strategic Account Manager: Multi-Category Retail / Grocery Location: Remote - France Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Account Manager to drive revenue growth across a defined geographic territory and named strategic accounts within the Multi-Category Retail and Grocery market. This role is designed for a senior sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise software sales, deep domain expertise in retail, and the ability to manage large, complex solution sales cycles. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own the full sales lifecycle — from prospecting and executive engagement to solution design and deal closure, positioning Centric’s PLM Solution Suite as a strategic platform for digital transformation. You will work closely with customers, internal technical teams, and leadership to deliver high-value, enterprise-scale solutions that create measurable business impact. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to build trusted executive relationships, influence large-scale transformation initiatives, and consistently close multi-million-dollar deals. Responsibilities Own and drive revenue generation within the assigned geographic territory and named vertical accounts, ensuring consistent achievement and strong performance against revenue targets. Build, maintain, and expand strong executive-level relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders. Lead in-depth, value-driven sales presentations of the full Centric PLM Solution Suite to Multi-Category and Grocery Retail organizations. Manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation and deal closure. Prospect and qualify new business opportunities, developing a robust and sustainable pipeline of high-quality leads. Analyze customer business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives to develop tailored sales strategies and solution proposals. Design and position Centric solutions to address complex customer requirements, in collaboration with technical and solution consulting teams. Provide sales leadership throughout proposal and project phases, ensuring alignment between customer needs, technical requirements, and delivery vision. Prepare and deliver written proposals, quotations, and commercial offers. Lead the preparation of business response documentation for RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes. Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the assigned territory, including account planning and growth initiatives. Represent Centric Software at regional and national trade shows, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences. Qualifications Native-level French speaker; fluent English required. Spanish is a strong plus. Minimum 8+ years of proven success selling PLM and/or enterprise application software (PLM, ERP, MRP, CRM, SCM) within the Grocery Retail or Multi-category Retail market. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas. Strong experience closing large, complex enterprise deals, including contracts in excess of $5M. Deep domain expertise in Grocery Retail, Multicategory Retail, and/or Global Product Sourcing within the FMCG market. Excellent executive-level presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, across small and large audiences. Proven success in new account development and expansion within strategic customers. Experience preparing high-quality sales presentations and responding to RFI/RFP processes. Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and cross-functional internal teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solution strategies. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving technology and commercial environment. Experience with value-based selling and/or solution selling methodologies.
